Fishermans Folly Cabin

Cozy cabin getaway Positive: Scott & Shannagh were very warm and welcoming hosts! There are detailed touches in the cabin (cozy socks, books, extra bedding for the pullout couch if needed, fridge, coffee & coffee cups, cotton pads in the bathroom, and more!). The cozy cabins are in a stunning area with a view of the lake and mountains. The location is great as there are exceptional hikes and other activities (like kayaking) in the area. Serene, peaceful, quiet...a wonderful retreat! Negative: We knowingly visited in the off-season and the restaurant was not open, so it was worth planning ahead for dining options. Scott & Shannagh recommended some places in town for dinner & we were not disappointed!

Die Unterkunft ist sehr einfach, das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt überhaupt nicht. Negative: Die Unterkunft ist sehr einfach und entspricht weder der Darstellung im Internet noch dem Preis für die Übernachtung. Es gibt kein Wasser-WC, die Fenster lassen sich nicht öffnen, ein Frühstück wurde uns überhaupt nicht angeboten. Die Aussenanlagen sind sehr ungepflegt.

Perfect for those wishing a bohemian adventure. Positive: Restaurant overlooking the harbour is to die for. Fabulous seafood, outdoor dining options, great service from friendly staff; but for visitors with small pets, it’s a Mecca… we had our Miss Daisy at tableside… they even supplied her with a water dish. Negative: No complaints or surprises…exactly as advertised!!! Owners are hands-on and attentive to details.
